Judy Yen

MA, LMFT

Whether Judy is working with adolescents, individuals, couples, or Asian Americans, she offers her clients a space free from judgement, where they can repair, heal, and grow through their pain. Through her intuitive, affirming and intentional approach to each clients' situation, she helps them to establish thriving relationships, emotional health, a stronger voice, and ultimately, hope.

Judy's wide range of life experience has equipped her to see and understand the plight of her clients on numerous levels. Coming from an Asian collectivist culture, Judy is well-acquainted with the expectations and obligations to remain loyal to one's group, rather than to one's own identity. She understands the conflict this cultural dichotomy can bring, and helps Asian American clients find healthy ways to remain connected to their communities without sacrificing the inherent value of the individual. Additionally, Judy's journey and education has given her insight and empathy for adolescents and the challenges they face during this very formative time in their lives.

The people who work with Judy as a therapist will find help building a framework for thriving relationships. She will guide them as they rebuild a strong self-worth and intrinsic value, honoring their experiences without shame, and giving them the opportunity to be seen and heard.

Outside the office, Judy spends her time doing Kickboxing or Barre classes, trying new things like calligraphy or cooking, visiting restaurants and coffee shops, taking her dogs to the park, and, most recently, spending time with her new baby.

Danny Nava

MA, AMFT

Danny brings a calm presence to the therapy room, creating a safe space where clients can see and share their stories without feeling shame or judgment. He collaborates with couples, families and individuals to find health and growth, and comforts them as they address challenging issues like anxiety, trauma, sexuality and broken relationships.

Danny’s personal journey has shown him that not all things in life go as planned, and that pain is often passed down through generations. This personal experience enables him to help clients see that they do not have to be a target, a product of failure, or destined to repeat the past. Instead, they can be the good in a situation and pass on something new to future generations.

Clients who partner with Danny will find a non-judgmental space to share their pain, deepest needs and explore their true self. Through his insight, skill, and caring guidance, they can find their voice and a healthy path, and learn to walk as a whole and present person. Danny’s passion and mission for helping others is fueled by his faith in something bigger than himself, and that faith is what drives him to advocate for his clients’ well-being, and to find their worth and authentic self.

Outside the office, Danny can be found spending time with loved ones, cooking, enjoying music and game nights, and investing in the youth at his church.
